Good morning!
Spring is here, which means summer is winding down, which also means school will be out soon.
It also means that VBS, our week-long outreach to children, will be starting in six weeks!
We could always use help with teachers or volunteers. I know one area where we have a BIG need this year is for some talented people to help us decorate the sanctuary and stage area. If you would like to help out this year, please let Emily Wallace know and plan to come to the training on May 19. We’ll even feed you a free lunch!
VBS is the single largest evangelistic push we make as a church each year. Last year, we had over 120 children attend and many heard the Gospel for the very first time. Some received Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you ever feel upset with yourself that you haven’t been as evangelistic as you should be, this would be a great event to be a part of as you will have the opportunity to share the life changing Gospel message with children.
