It’s great to have you at worship on this Memorial Day weekend. Let us take a moment to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made by our brave service members who have given their lives to protect our freedom.

This weekend, as we gather with family and friends to enjoy the long weekend, let us also remember to honor and pay tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our country. Let us take a moment of silence to remember those who have fallen and express our gratitude for their courage and sacrifice.

Today we’re continuing to cover the Sermon on the Mount as we learn what Jesus says about anger, confession of sin, reconciliation and how those things are related to worship. The status of our hearts is foundational for how we experience worship.

Thanks for prioritizing worship today. You will have no regret that you did.
