A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace
Good morning!
As we continue our series through the Sermon on the Mount, we reach the passage on the topic of judging others. It is important to remember that we are called to love one another just as Jesus loves us. This includes resisting the temptation to wrongly judge other people.
It is easy to fall into the trap of passing wrong judgment on others, but we must remember that it is not our place to do so. Only God has the ultimate authority to judge and it is not for us to determine someone else's worth or motivations.
Let us strive to show compassion, empathy, and understanding to all those around us, regardless of their perceived backgrounds or actions. We should remember that we are all sinners in need of God’s grace as we walk in the footsteps of Jesus, offering forgiveness and grace over condemnation and judgment.
Next week we will have one service at 11:00. The choir will lead us in worship. Enjoy your 4th of July holiday this week!
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
