A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace October 29th, 2023

Good morning!

I want to give a special “thank you” to those who helped with our involvement at the town’s Halloween Festival. One of our deacons, Johnny Hill, cooked 1,600 hot dogs by himself! If you see him today, make sure you tell him how much you appreciate him. Also, our facility director, Alex Carswell, basically directs this entire endeavor so make sure to tell him what a blessing he is when you see him. Of course, Colby Huftalen kept the entire team on track and we had many deacons and volunteers who helped in various and indispensable ways.

Today, we are transitioning from serving hot dogs to serving the Lord’s Supper. Taking communion is a solemn affair that Jesus himself commanded. Please take time to turn from your sins and meditate on what Christ did for you on the cross as you partake in the Lord’s table today.
