A Message from Colby Huftalen

Good morning, church.

It’s trip season.

Our recent trip to Mfuge at Ridgecrest was a blast. Our team of 20 students did evangelism around Asheville parks, landscaping at a children’s home, encouraged seniors at rehab centers, and children’s ministry at apartment complexes.

Our KidSalt team went to camp this week. They had a great time of worship, Bible study, and games at Charleston Southern University. We are so grateful that this top- notch kids camp is hosted nearby by trusted Southern Baptist partners.

Our Costa Rica team arrived home on Tuesday night. We partnered with IMB missionaries Jeff and Lori Herrington. They live in Costa Rica full time with their three children and are the only IMB missionaries in the country.

We worked with Iglesia Bautista Misionera de Santa Ana to engage their community. Through spiritual surveys and children’s activities we had dozens of gospel conversations. We also saw some put their faith in Christ! Please pray for the local church leaders as they follow up on many contacts that we made.
