A Message from Terri Austin Director of Choir & Senior Adults

Thank you so much for worshiping with us today! The Worship Choir is presenting the Easter musical, God So Loved the World, that was created by Dennis and Nan Allen. Interspersed among some of the songs are individual sketches written by Sue C. Smith and presented by the Drama Team.

As you might imagine, John 3:16 is the most searched Bible verse on the internet according to one website. It is not unusual to even see it on signs at sporting events. It has been referred to as the “gospel message in a nutshell.” Today’s musical focuses on God’s love for the entire world, the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and the free gift of salvation that He offers to each of us.

Please sing along; we want everyone to participate in worship. I cannot imagine a more beautiful sound than human voices joining together in praise to God. As the song, “Come, People of the Risen King” states “Rejoice, rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice! One heart, one voice; O church of Christ, rejoice!” Let’s worship like we mean it!
