Baptism Sunday Recap
June 25th was an amazing “Baptism Sunday!”We had seven children and youth follow the Lord in baptism. Some of these kids responded at our VBS, and some have been talking through this decision with their families for a few months.As a Southern Baptist church we believe that baptism an outward sign of a profession of faith. While it’s not necessary work for salvation, it is an important first step of obedience to Jesus and a powerful witness to the world. Each of these seven individuals have confessed that they are repenting from sin, putting their faith in Jesus, and will follow Christ for the rest of their life.Thank you to our VBS volunteers, First Kids teachers, and First Students leaders. Your influence in the next generation is needed now more than ever. I hope you are encouraged today as we celebrate life transformation!
