He is risen!
This was a common greeting among first-century Christians. The other would reply, “He is risen indeed!” While we might celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday, truthfully, it should be celebrated every day of our lives. His resurrection from the grave is why we have hope. It is why we can look forward to the future. It is why our faith is not in vain.
However, there are times where we fail in our faith. As we continue to look at the life of Peter, we will see that because of the resurrection of Jesus, even when we fail, he will restore us.
I’m so thankful that you are here to celebrate the glorious truth of the resurrection. He is risen indeed.
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
