Good morning church!
It’s so good to have you here for worship this Lord’s Day. Today we will look at one of the most famous passages in all the Bible: the story of David and Goliath. Even if you’ve heard or read it many times, there is always something new to learn and meditate upon from God’s Word.
Today we’ll be looking at young David and what it was that he had that allowed him to be a man of God. What kind of things do we have in our lives that our prohibiting us from being described that way? Can we ever truly be men and women after God’s own heart? That is God’s will for your life…to be holy. So, yes, we can certainly be formed more and more into His image.We’re also taking the Lord’s Supper today. This ordinance is a time for baptized believers to come together, turn from sin, and memorialize Christ’s work on the cross. It is a sacred time. Let’s prepare our hearts for such.
