Merry Christmas!
It’s so good to have you here worshiping with us this morning as Christmas Day comes ever so closer. Today I will be finishing my year-long series on the life of Jesus as we look at his parting words and ascension into Heaven. What an interesting way to look at Christmas this year: his birth coupled with his last day on earth.
In 2025 we are going to spend the year looking at the lives of great heroes of the faith: Abraham, Jacob, Peter, Mary, Noah, Ruth, Paul, Esther, and John. We can learn so much from those who came before us.
If you do not have plans for Christmas Eve, let me invite you to our special service on the 24th. At 5 pm, we will have a time of worship led by our band, scripture reading, a short children’s message, and a candlelight hymn to close out the night. If this night is not part of your family Christmas tradition, let me encourage you to make it one! Also, perhaps there is someone in your life you can invite to this service. You never know within whose heart God is working.
