A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace
Good Morning!
Welcome to 2025. You made it through another year! I’m glad you have decided to start this new year off right by being in worship this Sunday.
This year, my preaching emphasis is going to be focused on exploring what we can learn from people in the Bible. We’ll be spending the first six weeks of 2025 looking at the life of a man named Abram, whom God renamed Abraham.
Abram was living his best life. He was what we would call retired. He had a large family, employees running his property, and his needs were well met. Yet, God had another plan for his life. This plan would not only benefit Abram, but it would benefit the entire human race.
Through Abram, God would create the nation of Israel. Through the nation of Israel would come the Savior of the world, Jesus. Abram obeyed God’s call, and God blessed him in magnificent and profound ways.
If you know Jesus, you too have a plan God has orchestrated for you. The new year is an excellent time to commit to following God’s plan. Today, we’ll start looking at how to do that.
