Happy Sunday!
This morning, we will finish our six-week series on the life of Abraham as we look at a passage from the book of Hebrews that shows us what those who died in faith before us believed about their future.
Today is our annual Chili Bowl Cookoff! Join us at 6 PM to enjoy some incredible dishes made by all of you! We should have around 15 pots to sample. Our judges are ready, and the top three winners will receive amazing prizes handcrafted by church member Eddie McKnight. This is one of my favorite fellowship events of the year, and I hope you’ll attend! If you don’t cook chili, that’s fine—bring a side dish, a dessert, or just bring yourself and join us.
Next week, we’ll begin a new series on the life of Jacob, titled "Wrestling with God." We all have struggles when it comes to obeying God's call in our lives, and we’ll unpack how we can trust Him even in our struggles.
