Good morning everyone,
Again we’re blessed and privileged to have another opportunity to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Last week, Pastor Charlie began a sermon series from the book of Ruth, specifically focusing on chapter 1 - the need for redemption. Today our study takes us into chapter 2 - starting with the meeting of Ruth and Boaz. Boaz is a relative of Naomi, a man of noble character who God uses to redeem her and Ruth from their impoverished circumstances. The Lord has sovereignly provided someone in their lives to help bring about redemption and change. That person is Boaz. In the same way, God provides redemption and change from our impoverished spiritual condition through Jesus Christ. But it’s not just for us, it’s so He can use us as instruments to help bring change in others. My hope and prayer this morning is that God would help us see our hearts as He sees them and authentic biblical change would begin to take place.
Have a great Lord’s Day!
