  • Happy Father’s Day!

If you’re a father, I’m proud of you for setting the example for your family by prioritizing worship. As Christians, worshiping with God’s people is incredibly important. And as the father goes, the family usually follows.

Your children need to see your devotion to Christ through the commitments you make. You are giving them a strong foundation for their faith. Great job.

Today, we’re starting a new sermon series on the life of Joseph.

If there’s any story in the Bible that captures Romans 8:28 — “And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” — it’s this one.

God had an incredible plan for Joseph. He used him to take care of his family and preserve the growing Hebrew nation. But the road Joseph traveled wasn’t easy. He went through betrayal, slavery, false accusations, and prison. Still, God’s plan was at work through it all.

This is a powerful example of God’s providence. We’ll see this theme throughout Joseph’s story. It’s one of my favorite parts of the Bible.

Let’s get ready to worship our Lord and Savior.

    In Christ,

    Pastor Charlie
