Good Morning!
Today, we’ll be looking at Luke 2:41-52, a passage that gives us a rare look at Jesus in His youth years. When His parents couldn’t find Him, they discovered Him in the temple—completely focused, asking questions, and soaking in the wisdom of the teachers. Even at twelve years old, Jesus was all about His Father’s work.
As we gear up for Vacation Bible School tomorrow, this story hits home. Just like Jesus was eager to learn and grow, we’re excited to see the same spark in the children who will fill our church next week. VBS is such a special time; it’s loud, it’s joyful, it’s full of energy—but most importantly, it’s centered on helping children learn about Jesus.
Please be praying for all the little ones joining us, their families, and all the amazing volunteers that will make this event happen. We’re trusting God to plant seeds that will grow just like Luke 2:52 says:
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Let’s get ready for an awesome week!
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
