Hey Church Family,
Last week, First Students returned from an incredible week at MFuge summer camp. There is no doubt in my mind that they grew closer to Christ as they shared the Gospel across the Asheville community.
We’re excited to see how God will continue to work in their hearts now that they’re home. A big thank you to Pastor Colby and the other chaperones for their faithful leadership during the week.
This morning, we’ll dive into Genesis 37:12–36, where Joseph is betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery. This painful story reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God is still at work. We’ll explore the nature of betrayal and how we, as followers of Christ, are called to respond.
I’m so glad you’ve prioritized being here today for worship.
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
