Happy Sunday!
I’m so glad you’ve chosen to join us on this “tired” Sunday. I’m not sure why the government starts Daylight Savings on a Sunday morning—it’s not great for churches! But no matter what, we are ready to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, this morning.
Today, we continue our series on the life of Jacob, “Wrestling with God.” So far, we’ve looked at wrestling with God’s plan for our lives and wrestling with sin. Today, we’ll focus on wrestling with change.
It’s been said that the only constant in life is change. Time marches on, and we can’t stop it. Our world is constantly changing and moving. This is why we often resist what we deem “unnecessary” change—because we already face so much change we can’t control.
However, when God puts opportunities for change in your life, they are for a good reason. Let’s have faith to embrace the changes God gives us.
