  • Good morning everyone!

It’s a blessing to have you here with us this morning as we

worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and continue our

sermon series in the book of Esther. Our study brings us to chapter four and the familiar phrase, “for such a time as this.” There’s a lot going on in chapter four, such as: Esther’s fear, Mordecai’s plea for her to act, and her famous declaration, “If I perish, I perish.” Few of us have ever been faced with the challenge to lay down our lives in order to carry out God’s purposes in this world, but we as believers are to be willing to sacrifice our own needs for the good of others. This can be difficult, especially when there’s a cost. I hope this morning is a blessing as we open up God’s Word and listen as the Lord speaks to our hearts.

    Have a great Lord’s Day!
