Good morning,
Today, we are starting a new six-week series on the book of Esther. The events of this book occurred during a time where God‘s people, the Jews, were in exile. They were strangers in a strange land.
They were foreigners. They were sojourners. Yet, God used Esther to save his people in a land filled with immorality and decadence. We too, as Christians, find ourselves as foreigners in a world that is not our permanent home. As we go through this series, we will be able to see how God worked in the lives of his people and how he can work in our lives as we also face an uphill battle living in a culture that hates us. Nevertheless, until Christ comes back, we are called to make disciples as we glorify God. It is so glad to have you here today!
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
