Church Bulletin - August 16th, 2026

Good morning, church! School is now fully back in session so I know a lot of the families at our church are getting readjusted to new schedules. Isn’t it nice to not have to get readjusted to Sunday mornings? The gathering of God’s people every Sunday morning is something you can always count on. It is what makes the church the church.
We are continuing with our series on proper worship practices as we look at the famous “love” passage from 1 Corinthians. If you have ever attended a wedding, there’s a good chance you have heard this passage read aloud.
What many people don’t realize is this passage was given in the context of proper worship. The point of talking about love is that love is what unites true worship and spiritual gifting in the church. If we don’t have love in the church, we’re not really a church.
I’m so glad you have chosen to join us in worship today. We also have two baptisms at 11 AM. Praise the Lord! Pastor Charlie
