• A Message From Dr. Charlie Wallace

  Good morning!

  Today is a special musical celebration here at First Baptist. Our choir will be leading us in worship this Palm Sunday as we approach Easter. Palm Sunday takes us into the last week of Jesus’s life. It is in this week where He rode on a donkey into Jerusalem with much fanfare. It is this week where He instituted the Lord’s Supper, which we will partake in today. It is this week where He was betrayed by Judas and arrested for crimes and sins He did not commit. And it is this week where He ultimately was crucified and killed for the sins of mankind.

  We can’t have Easter Sunday without this week. Let this day of worship be a time where you can reflect on the gospel through singing, listening, and thinking over the commitment you have made to follow Jesus.

  We are so glad you have chosen to be with us on this special Sunday.
