Happy Mother’s Day!
If you are a mother, thank you for spending your special day with us in worship. I hope you get all the respect you so deserve today. The world would not run right without our mothers, and we thank you for your tireless love, support, and effort. This is the fifth week of our series on relationships in 1 Corinthians 6-7. Today we’re looking at the difficult topic of preserving marriage. When is a marriage “over?” If our marriage is in trouble, do we fight for it? For how long? What if the other person doesn’t want to be married anymore? Thankfully, the Apostle Paul answers these questions in our text today. Marriage is a God-ordained institution. But most of our culture places little value on it. Marriage is extremely important, however, and we’ll see today some truths related to preserving our marriages.
I’m so glad you are with us today. If your mother is here today, please shower her with love and adoration!
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie -
