Good morning church!
With Christmas just eleven days away, our hearts are already turning toward the manger. But this morning the Lord meets us first on a rocky prison island called Patmos. Here was the aged apostle John—exiled, isolated, and suffering for the sake of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus. Yet in that very place of hardship, the risen Christ appeared in blinding glory and transformed John’s pain into the greatest revelation of Jesus found anywhere in Scripture.
As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, may we remember that the same Jesus who touched John and said “Fear not” is walking among His lampstands today.
Come ready to worship the One who turns our Patmos moments into glimpses of His glory and who says to each of us, “Write what you have seen and share it.”
