• A Message From Dr. Charlie Wallace

  Good morning! I'm so glad you have chosen to spend your worship hour with us this morning. Today we are starting a 5-week sermon series called Building God's Church as we continue walking through the book of 1 Corinthians. For many years, our vision here at First Baptist has been: Grounded in God, Growing in Christ, Giving to Others. If we are going to stay true to that vision, we must make sure our works are built on the proper foundation: the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When we're grounded in the proper theology, we can then grow spiritually. As we're growing in Christ-likeness we can give to others through serving and sharing Jesus with them. God's church will be built to last when God's people are practicing the 3Gs.

  Easter season is approaching. Who has God placed on your heart for you to invite to church or share the Gospel with? Sometimes it starts with just a short conversation. Who has God put in your life that only you are uniquely positioned to reach? Now may be the day of salvation for someone that God has placed in your path.
