• A Message From Dr. Charlie Wallace

  Good morning!
  I’m so glad you have made the decision to worship with us this
  morning. I hope the hour you spend in here today can help
  you detox from the noise and distraction of life outside of these
  walls. Worship is a time where God wants you to meet Him where
  you are in your life. No matter your struggles, sins, angers or frustrations, Jesus says to lay them all down at His feet. Worship is a time where we can embrace that loving command and give Christ our burdens. He is strong enough for them.

  Today, we continue our series on church unity as we look at the truth that God’s people are all united through our shared identity in Christ. We are all individuals, but when the Holy Spirit indwells each of us upon conversion, we share somewhat of a “hive mind.” We all have the same Spirit guiding us into truth and away from evil. Our morals start to line up with each other and we start to see
  the world in a similar fashion. Furthermore, we treat people better than we have before as we continue to grow in the image of Christ.

  If you have been visiting with us for a bit and would like to know more about our church, come to our prospective new member class at 12:15 pm today, right after the service. I’d love to be able to get to know you better as we learn more about First Baptist.
