Good morning! We are so glad that you have chosen to join us for worship this Sunday. We are continuing our sermon series about the heart of worship. Today we'll look at how to properly express spiritual gifts.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are a fascinating truth. God distributes gifts to all believers for the edification and benefit of the body of Christ. Whatever gift(s) you have are not given to you for your benefit. They are to build up the body of Christ into what He would have them to become.
The situation in Corinth was one of people exercising their gifts for their own acclaim and fame. Unfortunately, we still deal with these issues in our own world.
Take a moment to ask the Lord to show you where he has gifted you so that you can be sure to be exercising your gifting. The church needs you to do so! Pastor Charlie
