Welcome!
I am so happy that you have chosen to worship with us today. I hope that you will allow the Holy Spirit to quiet your mind during this service. Your Christmas to-do list can wait; delight in this time with God.
Peace is the theme of both the musical and the drama today. The Bible instructs us to “not be anxious” over 100 times. Do you think that is because we need to be reminded of this? I know that I do. I allow myself to become overwhelmed with all of the “stuff” I think I need to do at Christmas. The reality is that God has already provided all that we need for Christmas; we just need to “be still, and know that” He is God as we read in Psalm 46:10.
May we experience the peace that only God can provide, whether it is for the first time or because we need to be reminded.
In Christ,
Terri Austin
