Good morning!
Christmas time is creeping up on us. As you can see, our sanctuary is beautifully decorated, awaiting the experiences that will come over the next few weeks.
Today, we continue our look at the life of Jesus for 2024 as we
look at one of his resurrection appearances. The disciples, locked in a room out of fear, were met with the unexpected appearance of Jesus. They were fearful, But Jesus calmed and energized them.
Thomas, one of the disciples, initially struggled with unbelief, stating that he needed physical proof to truly believe. However, Jesus, in His grace, appeared once again to show Thomas the scars on His hands and side, leading Thomas to exclaim, "My Lord and my God!"
Fear is a real thing we go through. Fear, however, partnered with faith, can often be a catalyst for God to do incredible things in our lives for our good and His glory.
Today, let’s remember to walk in faith, trusting in the victory of Jesus over fear. I’m so glad you are here today!
Don’t forget: Next week we will be having only one worship service at 11:00 where our choir and actors will be performing "Peace Has Come" with the drama, "An Evening in December.” Invite a friend!
