Good morning!
As we gather together today, we close our sermon series on the betrayal of Jesus. We will be
focusing on the burial of Jesus as recounted in John19:38-42. This week, we will be exploring the traits of discipleship displayed by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus in their act of honoring and caring for the body of Jesus.
In a world where following Jesus often requires us to step out of our comfort zones, just like Joseph and Nicodemus did, we are reminded of the importance of putting our feet to our faith. Their actions serve as examples of the sacrifices and risks involved in being a disciple of Christ.
If you have not yet given to our Thanksgiving offering, please consider doing so. Your generous gifts will enable us to close the year strong and meet our budget. We are getting closer but are not quite there yet. Pray and ask God how he would have you to give to Him this year.
