A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace
Good morning! It’s great to have you here this morning as we delve into the third part of our series on the Betrayal of Jesus focusing on the question: "For Whom Did Jesus Die?"
We will look at the crucifixion account and explore how Jesus's sacrificial death on the cross was not just a
random act of violence, but a deliberate, sacrificial act of love that transcends time to redeem all of humanity.
I want to thank all of our staff and volunteers who served at the town’s fall festival last week. We were situated at a great location and were able to give out 1,000 bags filled with candy and information about our church. I even saw some of our men who serve in the Gideon ministry handing out Bibles. What a blessing.
I also would like to bring to your attention that this month is our emphasis on our Thanksgiving offering. Our financial giving is not what it usually is in 2024, so we are behind where we need to be. If you have not given this year or have not given like you normally do, consider giving back to God this month. He has given us eternal life. Giving sacrificially is our act of love and worship in response to his ultimate act of sacrifice.
