Good morning!
Today, we are starting a new sermon series highlighting the betrayal of Jesus. Today, we’ll specifically look at how Jesus was betrayed by both Judas and Peter.
Betrayal is a painful experience that can leave wounds that take time to heal. It breaks trust and can bring shame and humiliation upon those who are betrayed. However, we must remember that even amidst betrayal, there is hope for redemption and healing.
Let’s ask God to search our hearts and, acknowledge any betrayals we may have faced or caused and seek forgiveness. No matter how badly you’ve been betrayed, there is healing in Jesus. No matter how horribly you’ve betrayed someone, there is restoration in Jesus.
Come to worship with an open heart today.
In Christ,
Pastor Charlie
