A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace
Happy Sunday!
It’s so good to have you at worship today. This week we are going to explore the injustice Jesus faced due to His teachings and authority.
Just like Jesus encountered opposition from authorities, we face resistance in our culture as well. Whether it's standing up against corruption, challenging unjust systems, or advocating for the less fortunate, as Christians, we are called to live out God’s values of love, justice, and righteousness.
Let's follow Jesus' example of humility as we navigate a world that may not always align with God's values. We are called to be advocates for the marginalized, support those in need, and build relationships that promote understanding and unity.
Jesus was killed partly because he was a threat. Believers, as we seek to follow Jesus, never forget that espousing Christian values is a threat to the world powers. Yet, we are called to promote them just the same.
