A Message from Dr. Charlie Wallace
Good morning!
I’m glad you are here today. Hopefully, you weren’t too negatively affected by this week’s storm. I am thankful that we did not get anywhere near the brunt of Helene. We need to be praying for those who were in her path.
I’m excited to announce an addition to our pastoral staff: Jim Toth! Pastor Jim has been attending First Baptist for a couple of years now. He has preached and taught for me several times so many of you may already be familiar with him. I will be introducing him during today’s service.
Rev. Toth will be part-time. He is “retired” but still wants to minister to and serve God’s people. His position will be that of Assistant Pastor and he will be assisting in the following areas: pastoral care, visitation, outreach, helping with discipleship ministries, men’s ministry, and will also be available for counseling. He will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please take time to introduce yourself to him today. We are grateful he will be joining our team. He will be a great asset.
