Happy Sunday!
I’m so glad you are spending your Lord’s Day with us. Today we are starting a new five-week series where we will be looking at the words of Jesus: phrases and sayings that he spoke. Some of these sayings may be well known to you, others may not. However, I believe we will be blessed as we look closer at the words of Jesus.
Today we’re looking at a passage where Jesus says to come to him and he will take our burdens and give us rest. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we are constantly bombarded with responsibilities, expectations, and pressures from all sides. We often feel exhausted, stressed, and burdened. In the midst of all this, Jesus offers us a promise of rest. Whether we realize it or not, rest in Jesus is necessary for our souls.
Prepare your hearts to worship the living God today.
